Les dejo para que disfruten mi cancion preferida del ultimo disco de U2, "Sometimes you can't make it on your own", la cancion que Bono escribio para su papa, cuando estaba muriendo de cancer.

Ellos nunca tuvieron una relacion muy buena, porque la mama de Bono murio cuando el tenia 12 años, y, tanto el padre como el hijo tenian el mismo caracter fuerte, por lo que siempre chocaron mucho... incluso fue una de las cosas que hizo que Bono se dedicara a su banda, como una forma de independizarse...

Pero al final de la vida de su papa (que era cantante de opera aficionado, y que siempre penso que la musica que hacia su hijo era "ruido", excepto cuando colaboro con Pavaroti ) la relacion de ambos mejoro, y se reconciliaron.

De alli nace esta cancion, que es sumamente personal y sentida, y que Bono pudo cantarle a su papa cuando estaba en el estadio terminal de su enfermedad.

Y es justamente este hecho de la muerte de su papa a lo que hace alusion el titulo del disco "Como desmantelar una bomba atomica", porque para Bono eso fue la muerte de su padre, una bomba atomica en su vida...

No hace falta preguntar si este post es una especie de Club de Fans de U2. Soy una "enamorada" de U2 y su vocalista Bono.

Stay es una pieza musical excepcional; pero, me hubiera gustado que el nombre del post fuera más abierto, algo así como U2manía.
